My Dad

Bob’s dad is tall like a telephone pole
And strong as a bulldozer’s throttle.
Sue’s dad is smart like a scientist
And handsome as a model.

I saw Mike’s dad pick up a snake
To save his cat from fear.
Jake’s dad took him to the coast
And walked out on the pier.

Some dads wear uniforms to work
Keeping the country well.
Other’s cook or keep the books.
Some have tales to tell.

But my dad is the best of all!
My dad says, “This is true!”
Because God gave him just to me,
He loves me through and through.
